The International Student Office has a commitment that it delivers faithfully - the provision of dedicated services in supporting and assisting international students throughout their studies here. Our office has welcomed students from many different lands in all these years, serving people of various nationalities whom usually end up not merely as our students.
We strongly believe in giving our international students the kind of experiences they would be proud to bring home and to have these wonderful moments shared with their family members, friends and relatives. This would in turn, create a good impression about the country and its people to our students. What is important is the ambassadorial role these students become a part of, especially when they feel at home living and studying here, which in the end, would be beneficial to our present and future international students.

Immigration Matters Malaysian Immigration Law requires universities/colleges to meet ALL foreign students at the Immigration Checkpoint at the airport. They will not allow students to enter the country without a college representative present at the checkpoint.
You MUST INFORM the INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OFFICE (ISO) of your arrival details (by fax or email), at least 1 WEEK before your arrival. If you fail to do so, we would not be able to guarantee that we will meet you at the airport.
Airport Pickup Once we have received your arrival details, our staff will meet you at the Immigration Checkpoint and assist you with the immigration clearance. Please do not arrange to have your friends or relatives pick you at the airport. You can arrange to meet them after we have settled your entry into the country and your accommodation arrangements.
Accommodation Check-in The Student Support Services Department provides the necessary support and assistance with your accommodation needs. The room is furnished with items such as a bed, mattress, study table, chair, fan and cupboard. For hygienic reasons, please bring your own bed sheets and pillow covers. Things that are not provided can easily be bought from the shops around the University or Metro Campuses.
Banking & Currency Exchange The International Student Office will help make arrangements for you to change your money to local currency. You can apply to open a Bank Account after the Student Pass has been endorsed in your passport by the Malaysian Immigration Department. Please bring sufficient cash for daily living expenses for the first month while waiting for your Student Pass to be endorsed.
