  Facility Upgrades
The KLMUC city campus is comprised of two main building blocks. To meet the needs of the students, the university has invested millions of ringgit to upgrade its current facilities and equipment that reflects the current real world practice.

  Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality
A total of RM2 million has been allocated into the project to build modern and sophisticated facilities for the Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality. These include three training kitchens which can accommodate 20 students during each session, a room for pastry production, an air-conditioned room for chocolate preparation and ice-carving plus several practical rooms. There is also a cafe fully operated and managed by the faculty's students. These are geared towards exposing students to real world practice. These crucial experiences will enable the transition from being students to becoming highly skilled potential employees for the industry.

  Faculty of Health Sciences
A RM1 million worth of investment has been allocated to set up state-of-the-art labs and equipment. These labs will provide a rich learning environment for the Medical Lab Technology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy programmes. Students are trained within a hospital setting or simulation wards using life-sized dummies, mock nurseries and volunteer programmes.

The Faculty of Languages and Communication
The Faculty of Languages & Communication allows students to experience communication and media. Students can participate in role playing activities and learn to use recording equipment to help them familiarise with the media industry. With an investment of over RM600,000, the studios provide a simulation of an actual studio within a media facility. The new production facilities include a screening room, sound studio, radio station and a multi camera production (MCP) room. Students will be able to experience filming, audio recording and lighting.

  Faculty of Art & Design
The Product Design workshop has been upgraded with new tools and machinery. The workshop provides as a training ground for students pursuing a career in Product Design. The new equipment include a circular saw, vacuum dust collector, drilling machines and other manufacturing tools. The recent upgrade provides practical exposure for students in the product design course by allowing them to familiarise themselves with the tools which are being used by real industries.
