		Programme Description

		This programme of study ensures that you advance in your career with the necessary skills and an understanding of every aspect of electronic-based technology and computer applications of engineering. It also explores advanced mathematics, computing, practical engineering skills and industrial applications to groom you for ready employment or be ready for higher studies.

	Programme Aims

	•	To equip students with advanced skills and practical knowledge in engineering
	•	To produce graduates to fill the vacuum in the demand for qualified electrical and electronics engineers to support emerging ICT organizations
	•	To provide graduates who can make valuable contributions in planning, designing, operating, installing, configuring and maintaining electronics and electrical systems

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

DIPLOMA
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
SPM (with 3 credits) in any subjects or other equivalent qualifications.
•	For information Technology & Telecommunication Technology a credit in Mathematics.
•	For Electrical & Electronic Engineering, a credit in Mathematics or UEC 3B inclusive of Mathematics is required.
•	Certificate in the relevant field approved by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	For Engineering, STPM or A Level with 3 principal passes inclusive of Mathematics and Physical Science.
•	For Information Technology, STPM or A Level with 2 principal passes inclusive of Pengajian Am.
•	Diploma or A-Levels, Foundation courses, Matriculation, Pre University and other equivalent qualifications and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM.
•	Completed Foundation Programme in the relevant field approved by MOHE.
•	Other equivalent qualifications.
