		Programme Description
		This degree program requires for you to have a Diploma in Tourism Management. You will be trained on the managerial aspect of the Tourism Industry which requires the specification in the subject that they study such as marketing, management, business and more. The programme will focus on the development in the management and entrepreneurial aspects that are deemed important in an organization relative to the Tourism Industry.

	Programme Aims

	•	To equip students with the basics in tourism management.
	•	To apply and review management principles and technical skills relevant to the industry
	•	To create and develop professionals who are able to undertake various managerial functions in tourism operations.
	•	To prepare and balanced students with theoretical awareness and practical experience to raise the quality of the tourism industry.


Career Prospects

This degree requires that you have to dynamic, proactive and analytical with your surroundings. The acquired traits and attributes you will learn from this would enable you to work within a Supervisory or Managerial level that requires leadership skills. As the front-liners in the tourism industry, you will improve the services that consist of many sub-components that require your ability and participation to respond and react with diligent intelligence.

DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	STPM (with 2 principal passes), A-Levels or Diploma.
•	Completed Diploma from a recognised institution of higher learning.
•	Other equivalent qualifications.
