		Programme Description
		The diploma will equip you with the basic skills in developing multimedia content. You will also be trained to maintain a creative mindset when managing and producing multimedia-related products. You are given the opportunity to bring theories to life through case studies and practical exercises using 2D and 3D imaging, animation, and digital, audio and interface design, including advice on managing and developing multimedia teams. When you graduate, you will have gained the practical, creative and communication skills necessary to plan, design and construct fully interactive multimedia applications.

	Programme Aims

	•	To produce graduates who understand the fundamentals of the multimedia world
	•	To equip students with diverse knowledge from other disciplines to enhance their creativity and produce the best possible end results
	•	To impart graduates with technical expertise who are able to solve creative problems and integrate the findings into everyday commercial uses


Career Prospects
Upon completion of this programme, graduates will be able to work as animators, producers, multimedia programmers, web developers, multimedia designers and audio & video editors.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

DIPLOMA
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	SPM with 3 credits and a pass in Art Studies. Candidates without Art Studies in SPM are required to attend an interview to present their artwork.
•	Other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution of higher learning.

Foundation in Design
•	SPM (with 5 credits) in any subject or
•	Other equivalent qualifications.

DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	STPM (with 2 principal passes) including Pengajian Am or Diploma, A-Levels, Foundation courses, Matriculation, Pre University and other equivalent qualifications and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM.
•	Other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution of higher learning.
