  Programme Description
  This diploma will teach you the basic principles of solving graphic design problems. Using cutting-edge industry software and related programmes, you will develop the expertise to create stunning and successful designs, demonstrate effective use of colour, dominant elements, and typographical and production skills to execute effective design layouts that meet exacting industry standards. You will prepare a portfolio of your best work for professional presentation and evaluation.

  To provide graduates with a sound knowledge of graphics and visual communication
  To enhance the creativity of graduates through intensive application of graphic tools and techniques
  To instil a full appreciation for the challenges and approaches required in different media environments
  To guide graduates in managing the creative design process
 
 
Career Prospects  
Upon completion of this programme, graduates will be able to work as graphic designers, instructional designers, art directors and packaging designers.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 
DIPLOMA
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
SPM with 3 credits and a pass in Art Studies. Candidates without Art Studies in SPM are required to attend an interview to present their artwork.
Other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution of higher learning.
   
Foundation in Design
SPM (with 5 credits) in any subject or
Other equivalent qualifications.
   
DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
STPM (with 2 principal passes) including Pengajian Am or Diploma, A-Levels, Foundation courses, Matriculation, Pre University and other equivalent qualifications and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM.
Other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution of higher learning.
