  Programme Description
   
  The Diploma in Computer Graphic Design focuses on the basic principles, concepts and fundamentals required to solve graphic design challenges. Students develop the ability to determine appropriate and successful designs and demonstrate effective use of colours, dominant elements, typographical and production skills to make effective design layouts. Students are required to prepare their portfolio for professional presentation by the end of the course.

  To provide students with a sound knowledge of graphics and visual communication
  To enhance students' creativity through intensive application of graphic tools and techniques
  To instill in students a full appreciation of the challenges and approaches required in different media environment
  To guide students in managing the creative design process
     
  Career Prospects
   
  Upon completion of this programme, a graduate can work as a graphic designer, instructional designer, packaging designer and an art director.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 
SPM / SPMV with 3 credits in any subjects and pass in Arts and Technical Drawing subject
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by Government of Malaysia
Pass drawing test/interview conducted by KLMUC for students without art subjects in SPM.
   
  Note: Specific Diploma programmes require certain subjects or other additional qualifications in order to be eligible.
