  Programme Description
   
  The Diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communications expose students in the field of advertising and integrated marketing communications that consist of public relations, sales promotion and direct response marketing. For advertising, the area of focus is in creative design, media planning, media production, campaign management, encompassing a balance of theory and practical examples. Students learn to do strategic planning and creation of advertising for both print and mass media, particularly in concept development and copywriting. This programme equip graduates with the technical and conceptual skills required to visualize ideas and messages in executing an advertising and marketing campaign.

  To impart students with a sound knowledge in Marketing Communications specialising in creative development and business management
  To develop students’ critical thinking, creativity and interpersonal skills
  To prepare students for academic and practitioner career in advertising, marketing, promotions, public and media relations, and various creative industries
     
  Career Prospects
   
  Upon completion of this programme, graduates can work in advertising agencies, media agencies (electronic and print Media), public relations agencies and marketing sectors as an account executive, art director, event coordinator, a media planner, media buyer, media researcher, creative director, designer, copywriter, marketing executive, marketing communications coordinator, sales & promotions executive, product executive, public relations executive, corporate communications executive, etc.

SPM / SPMV with 3 credits in any subjects
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 3 subjects
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by Government of Malaysia
