		Programme Description
		This highly popular diploma provides you with effective knowledge and skills in accounting studies. It gives a sound knowledge of the principles and core concepts of accounting, along with an analysis of the significant literature and applied knowledge in the profession. You will be equipped with knowledge, skills and understanding of industry best practices in accounting and an appreciation of the value of research, critical thinking
and effective communication. At the same time, you will develop professional understanding in areas such as finance, management, accounting, auditing and taxation.

	•	To enhance financial reporting and presentation skills.
	•	To produce graduates who are able to analyze accounting problems ethically, as well as effectively.


Career Prospects

Upon completion of this programme, graduates are able to work as accounts assistants, financial advisors and loan officers in administrative support in the finance industry and as officers and supervisors in financial and commercial institutions.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

DIPLOMA
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	SPM (with 3 credits) in any subjects or other equivalent qualifications.
•	For the Accounting program, a credit in Mathematics is required.
•	Certificate in
	- Business with the minimum of CGPA 2.00 or
	- Business from a recognised institution of higher learning or
	- Information Technology, Multimedia or Graphic Design or
	- Secretarial, Business or Information Technology

Foundation in Business
•	SPM (with 5 credits) in any subject or
•	Other equivalent qualifications.

DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	STPM (with 2 principal passes), A-Levels or Diploma.
•	Completed Foundation Programs, Matriculation, Pre-University Studies.
•	Other equivalent qualifications.
