Programme Description

This innovative programme provides you with a holistic understanding of business development through a mastery of the principles and practices of strategic entrepreneurship and finance. Therefore, you will learn how to successfully set up a business. Upon graduation, you will have acquired the knowledge, skills and understanding of the best practices in business and entrepreneur development, including the ability to
think critically. You will also become proficient with the critical skills in developing sustainable businesses along with interpersonal communication, teamwork and problem-solving. The Business Plan Project will provide you with invaluable experience, offering unique opportunities to start your own business after graduation. Alternatively, you can find employment with local or foreign companies as employees with an entrepreneurial mindset.

	•	To equip students with the fundamentals of business as well as specialized knowledge and skills in the areas of start-up ventures, business development and innovation.
	•	To prepare graduates for sourcing and starting a new business.
	•	To enable graduates to operate effectively in a rapidly changing work environment.
	•	To nurture students to be ethical, competent and innovative entrepreneurs/ small-business owners, who are able to be future business leaders.

		Graduates have the opportunity to build a promising entrepreneurial career or contribute to developing a business. They may also pursue postgraduate studies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

DIPLOMA
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	SPM (with 3 credits) in any subjects or other equivalent qualifications.
•	For the Accounting program, a credit in Mathematics is required.
•	Certificate in
	- Business with the minimum of CGPA 2.00 or
	- Business from a recognised institution of higher learning or
	- Information Technology, Multimedia or Graphic Design or
	- Secretarial, Business or Information Technology

Foundation in Business
•	SPM (with 5 credits) in any subject or
•	Other equivalent qualifications.

DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
•	STPM (with 2 principal passes), A-Levels or Diploma.
•	Completed Foundation Programs, Matriculation, Pre-University Studies.
•	Other equivalent qualifications.
