Programme Description
 
This carefully designed programme will provide you with the competency to function in administrative office management and human resource units. You will acquire a sound knowledge of office principles and management concepts, a familiarity with the significant literature in the field and the ability to review, consolidate, extend and apply knowledge and techniques in administrative management.
 
Upon graduation, you will have grasped an understanding of the best practices in administrative management and an appreciation of the value of research, critical thinking, effective communication, office management, teamwork, report writing and problem-solving. Your confidence will be nurtured so that you can become an effective leader.

  Programme Aims
     
 
To equip graduates with the core concepts of office and administrative management, principles of human resource management, and to fully appreciate the role of computers and information systems in the office.
 
To impart mastery of interpersonal communication, report writing and presentation skills.
 
To produce graduates who are effective and ethical problem-solvers
 
To enable graduates to analyse and determine the factors required in creating a productive working environment.
     
 
 
  Career Prospects
   
  Career prospects in this field are excellent. Graduates are qualified to work in the areas of administration and human resources in both the private and public sectors. They can also pursue postgraduate studies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 
DIPLOMA
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
SPM (with 3 credits) in any subjects or other equivalent qualifications.
For the Accounting program, a credit in Mathematics is required.
Certificate in
  - Business with the minimum of CGPA 2.00 or
  - Business from a recognised institution of higher learning or
  - Information Technology, Multimedia or Graphic Design or
  - Secretarial, Business or Information Technology
   
Foundation in Business
SPM (with 5 credits) in any subject or
Other equivalent qualifications.
   
DEGREE
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
STPM (with 2 principal passes), A-Levels or Diploma.
Completed Foundation Programs, Matriculation, Pre-University Studies.
Other equivalent qualifications.
