	Programme Description


	The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting & Finance is specifically designed to produce qualified professionals in the area of accounting and finance. Graduates are trained with the knowledge and expertise in business administration and other related services/ professions. It emphasises on the development of students' working, interpersonal and professional skills, making them all-rounders who can perform independently.

	•	To supply professional human resources in the area which are ethical, and knowledgeable in solving all corporate problems effectively and efficiently
	•	To enable graduates to be better placed to meet the current and future needs of the business and public sectors

	Career Prospects

	Accounting and financial managers oversee the preparation of financial statements and financing planning activities. A graduate can work as an accountant, auditor and a financial specialist in the government or commercial sectors. He/she can also enroll in professional accounting and financial programmes or postgraduate studies.
